SHEL LAB Incubator

General Purpose Laboratory Incubator Applications
Bacteriology, Stability Testing, Food Processing QA/QC & More…

Whether you're growing bacteria as a classroom experiment or working at a state of the art pharmaceutical laboratory, General Purpose Incubators are a must for most all microbiology applications. Whether your following the USDA Microbiology Guidebook procedure for isolating Listeria, and Salmonella within Food Processing Quality Control procedures, or conducting a crystallization study of certain proteins, the SHEL LAB general purpose incubator family will meet your needs. General Purpose Incubator applications are diverse because of the number industries and protocols they are required for. Some applications include, biochemical studies, bacteriology, and hematological studies. Three design features, heating technology, the type insulation used and the chamber size differentiate laboratory incubators. The SHEL LAB family of General Purpose Incubators are described below:.

Standard General Purpose Lab Incubators
These laboratory incubators range in size from 2 cu. ft. – 12 cu. ft. The SHEL LAB incubator line is heated from 5 sides and feature triple wall construction. This design eliminates the need for an internal convection fan, which is why these incubators won't dry your samples and are well suited for bacteriology studies.

Large Capacity Laboratory Incubators
The SHEL LAB RI28 and RI40 reach in, large capacity lab incubators are engineered for use with cell production roller bottle apparatuses. The Large Capacity Incubators also include four interior outlets allowing you to perform applications requiring magnetic stirrers and shakers.
